Backup
Host a Website
We set up on our server an
account for every site we host. Within that site we create accounts for
every email address you require. We provide you with all the access
information you need to these accounts and help you configure your
email software accordingly.
You can host your website with us for as little as £25
per annum. If you take one of our web
design packages we will take care of everything,
including the design of your site and the management of it.

The Data Centres
Our servers are located in two data centres. Trained engineers monitor
them ensuring any problems are quickly dealt with. The state of the art
data centres include systems designed to ensure problems never occur :-
- Availability.
24 hours, 7 days a week, 52 weeks a year.
- Servers. We
use Industry Standard Linux servers.
- Power. All
power is routed through Furse lightning protectors and mulitple UPS's
to ensure that all power is supplied at a smooth rate and can not
damage the servers and other equipment required to deliver the service.
Should there be a full power failure an industrial strength generator
will automatically start and keep the servers and dependent services
running until normal power is restored.
- Network
Connections. Mulitple connections to different networks connecting
to the Internet
 ensure our servers can always be reached.
- Equipment.
Most network equipment - routers etc are supplied by Cisco, one of
the best manufacturers in the world.
- Fire. A
FM200 fire suppression system is installed. Should a fire occur FM200
gas is dispersed which fills the room and extinguishes the fire within
seconds, whilst not causing damage or interuption to equipment in the
centre. Naturally the design of the data centre minimises fire risk.
- Access.
Access to the data centre is restricted, its location is kept secret
and manned by security personnel at all times.
- Engineers.
Trained engineers are present at all times making sure that all
services are operational. Should any component fail engineers are
automatically notified and can respond within the fastest time possible.
- Air Conditioning.
The Data Centre is air tight and maintained at a constant temperature.
This ensures the best operating conditions for the equipment and
servers.
- Water.
Prior to its construction all heating, sewer and water pipes were
removed from the site. The building has multiple water sensors
installed to detect water, in the unlikely event should it leak in.
- Monitoring.
A sophisticated network of CCTV cameras is used throughout which are
monitored at all times.
